Yes, 2020 was a pretty rough year… However, for some, there has been a bright side to the never-ending pandemic. It gave people more time to focus on themselves, to get back to their hobbies, and maybe even start a small business of their own…
That’s what happened for me and my friend Seira during summer 2020.
I developed a passion for making beads accessories. I realized that whenever I sat down and started “beading”, time flew by.
The very day I met Seira, right after introducing ourselves, I gave her a small bracelet I had made.
I believe that somehow, the bracelet made us become friends within about 40 seconds… Friends at first sight? Or friends at first beads maybe 😂
Anyway, she later showed interest in making some bracelets with me at my place. Which we did. And which became almost a tradition every time she would come over.
We had talked about selling them and we thought “meh, why not? All we have to do is make them, post them on instagram and sell”…
Turns out we are both perfectionists so it took a bit more effort than that 🙃
But it was all definitely worth it.
